Transportation  

Driving from New York or New Jersey Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike).   Pennsylvania Turnpike to Route I-476 South, also called the Blue Route (about 20 miles). Blue Route South several miles to Route 30 East.  Route 30 east to Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr.  Left on Morris Avenue, under the railroad bridge, across Montgomery Avenue.  Turn left on Yarrow Street.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.

 

From  Philadelphia Take I-476 (the Blue Route) to Route 30, Lancaster Avenue. Route 30 east to Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr.  Left on Morris Avenue, under the railroad bridge, across Montgomery Avenue.  Turn left on Yarrow Street.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.

 

From South of Philadelphia Take I-95 north to I-476, which you will find north of Wilmington and south of Philadelphia.  I-476 north to Route 30. Route 30 east to Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr.  Left on Morris Avenue, under the railroad bridge, across Montgomery Avenue.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.

From  the West Take the Pennsylvania Turpike west to exit 25A (Route 476 South, also called the Blue Route). Blue Route South several miles to Route 30.  Route 30 east to Morris Avenue in Bryn Mawr.  Left on Morris Avenue, under the railroad bridge, across Montgomery Avenue. Turn left on Yarrow Street.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.Go right at first stop sign 

 

Amtrak/Local

Trains Travel to the Philadelphia 30th Street Station.  Once you are in the station, go to the SEPTA area for local trains.  Take R5 Paoli train westbound to the Bryn Mawr station.  (be careful not to take the R5 Lansdale train, which runs the other way).  Bryn Mawr College is two short blocks from the station.  Walk north (away from the station).  First block is Mongomery Avenue.  Second block is Yarrow Street.  Turn left on Yarrow Street.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.Go right at first stop sign  Pick up can be arranged.

 

Air  Travel

Travel to the Philadelphia Airport.  From the airport, catch the R1 SEPTA train to the Philadelphia 30th Street Station. Once you are in the station, go to the SEPTA area for local trains.  Take R5 Paoli train westbound to the Bryn Mawr station.  (be careful not to take the R5 Lansdale train, which runs the other way).  Bryn Mawr College is two short blocks from the station.   Walk north (away from the station).  First block is Mongomery Avenue.  Second block is Yarrow Street.  Turn left on Yarrow Street.  Go right at first stop sign  Haffner Hall is immediately on your right.   Pick up can be arranged. Accommodations  

Bryn Mawr College Dorms Single or double occupancy; air conditioned; linen included.  Very nice facilities, but no private baths.

These are both luxury hotels, and both are about a 10 minute drive.
