Step up to your absolute best and play chamber music with our world-class faculty! Your choice of repertoire to rehearse and perform with our warm, caring, and extraordinarily gifted concertizing teachers. Daily coachings, rehearsals, and workshops tailored for you personally, as well as opportunity to read music with fellow musicians. Composers, professional and amateur, will work with the highest-caliber musicians to fine tune their pieces and receive a concert recording.

Play lots of different chamber music

Participants cover several ​pieces of repertoire in a supportive, synergetic atmosphere. Each day, participants have multiple coachings, rehearsals, and attend workshops on issues at the heart of playing chamber music. There will be many opportunities for reading with fellow musicians. Experienced players who love playing varied repertoire will love this week, as well as players new to chamber music or wishing to get a more solid grasp on their instrument.

Focus on two pieces!

Prepare two pieces of music picked from our carefully selected repertoire. (Pianists pick their own.) Study in-depth with our generous, supportive faculty, and share your experience with dedicated peers. The coachings and workshops are designed to enhance the finer points of rehearsal, performance, and individual roles in ensembles. Many reading opportunities will exist for musicians to just play - or practice sight-reading!  This week will bring your performance to the next level and leave you inspired and equipped with tools to use at home.

Early Music on Modern Instruments (EMMI) offers performers, students, and amateurs the opportunity to study historical performance practices using their own instruments. The curriculum includes chamber music, baroque dance, baroque techniques, and keyboard figured bass instruction on harpsichords and pianos.
