By separating rhythm from pitch in notation, Kim helps you lay the steady foundation needed to understand the reading and execution of rhythm as a separate skill or task from producing a pitch. These sessions give precise guidelines for developing your sense of inner pulse, and show you how to divide each beat internally to form the rhythms in the music you play. Learn to practice these elements in chamber music settings or solo settings, complete with online rhythm and pulse training resources and connection to Kim's Facebook page for personalized practice support.
Also included are written rhythm and pulse exercises for your use at home with a metronome or even together in a group setting .
